Omega Hart
Omega Hart is a Christian rapper from Lacrosse, Florida, with a rich musical background. Coming from a family deeply involved in music—his grandfather was a keyboard player, his aunt a lead singer for the Georgia Mass Choir, and his mother and sister are also singers—Omega was naturally drawn to music. He discovered his love for writing and rapping at the age of 6, knowing early on that he wanted to make it a profession.
Growing up, Omega was influenced by a variety of artists across genres, including Michael Jackson (for his all-around performance), Master P (for his business mindset), Will Smith (as a mainstream jack of all trades), Kirk Franklin (for contemporary gospel), DC Talk (for his rock side), and MC Hammer (for his energetic, crowd-moving performances). These influences shaped Omega’s versatile music style, which blends Christian rap with a mix of genres to create something unique and multifaceted.
Omega's Christian faith plays a crucial role in his music. He believes that being transparent in his music brings him closer to God and allows him to share his life and struggles with others. His music is a reflection of his personal journey, with his favorite Bible verse, Genesis 32:26—where Jacob wrestled with an angel and refused to let go until he received his blessing—serving as a guiding motto for both his life and music. The verse symbolizes perseverance and faith through pain, a theme that runs deep in his work.
Omega first met No Compromise Music Group (NCMG) founder C Dub in 2012, and after years of collaboration, he was offered the opportunity to join the label in January 2025. He is now working on a joint project with C Dub titled My Brother's Keeper, set to release soon.
Omega’s ultimate goal with his music is to draw people closer to God and show the world that hip-hop can be a powerful and positive genre. Although he hasn’t released any albums yet, his upcoming project will carry this message, hoping to inspire and entertain listeners while showcasing the transformative power of faith. Through his music, Omega hopes people see how God can take a broken person with many flaws and use them for something greater, ultimately bringing others closer to Him.
